San Diego Chargers head coach Mike McCoy has conceded that his side many too many mistakes in their defeat to the Cincinnati Bengals.
The AFC West side were defeated 24-19 by the Bengals, but were made to rue fumbles from Keenan Allen and quarterback Philip Rivers, as well as a late interception from the 34-year-old for their first loss of the season.
McCoy told reporters: "As hard as it is to win on the road, you can't make the mistakes we made and beat a good football team like that."
Rivers became the club's all-time touchdown leader when he threw for his 255th strike in the match at Paul Brown Stadium.
