The San Francisco 49ers have confirmed that wide receiver Anquan Boldin has agreed a new two-year deal with the club.
The 33-year-old only joined Jim Harbaugh's side last season in a trade deal from the Baltimore Ravens, but was due to be out of contract when the league year begins later this month.
"We are pleased that Anquan has chosen to continue his career as a 49er," 49ers general manager Trent Baalke told the club's official website.
"He is a consummate professional whose love and respect for the game provide a tremendous example for all players.
"Anquan has been a very productive player throughout his career and we look forward to his future contributions to our team and community."
Boldin had 85 receptions for 1,179 yards and seven touchdowns in the 2013 season.
