Vernon Davis has been able to resume non-contact practice after sustaining a concussion on Sunday.
The San Francisco 49ers tight end picked up the head injury in the first quarter of their loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
The 28-year-old told reporters: "I'm all right. I'm thinking I have to be ready for this game. That's the way I'm approaching it.
"There's a lot on the line. No matter what happens, we have to win this game. So my mind is focused on getting out there and helping my teammates win this game any way I can. I'm ready to play."
Davis will undergo further tests later today to see if he is able to play against the Arizona Cardinals tomorrow.
