The New York Giants hold a narrow 17-14 lead over the Seattle Seahawks at the break in their NFL clash at CenturyLink Field.
Seattle took the lead on their first possession of the game as quarterback Russell Wilson drove them seamlessly downfield to the goal line. On the one-yard line he handed the ball off to Marshawn Lynch, who powered through the line for the touchdown.
The Giants rallied back as Zack Bowman intercepted a pass from Wilson and Eli Manning guided his side into the endzone, evading the pressure from the Seahawks' pass-rush and lofting a pass to Preston Parker for the score.
New York went ahead in the match when Manning lofted a pass deep downfield for Odell Beckham, who beat the coverage of Richard Sherman, for a big gain. Manning and Beckham connected again to move the visitors to the goal line before Andre Williams crashed over for the touchdown.
Seattle battled back as they made crucial plays on third and fourth down to restore their attacking momentum. Wilson moved his side to the goalline, where he handed the ball off to Lynch who powered in for his second touchdown of the game.
Josh Brown kicked the Giants back into the lead just before the break when he fired an effort through the posts from 41 yards.
