Seattle Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett has revealed that the club want him to stay for the rest of his career, but he is adamant that a deal has to be right for him.
The 28-year-old played a crucial role in his side's run to the Super Bowl and their eventual win over the Denver Broncos after a signing a one-year deal in the last off-season.
Seattle are keen for Bennett to remain at the club before he hits free agency later this month, but he has insisted that he wants to get the best deal possible for himself.
"Obviously they want me to be a Seahawk for the rest of my career," Bennett told SiriusXM NFL Radio. "But everything plays into the numbers. Have to make sure everything is right."
Bennett recorded 31 tackles and 8.5 sacks for the Seahawks last season.
