The Seattle Seahawks have announced that they have agreed a deal to bring free agent cornerback Perrish Cox to the team.
The 26-year-old was released by the Seahawks' NFC West rivals the San Francisco 49ers earlier this month, where he recorded two tackles and a forced fumble in nine games.
The Seahawks are short at cornerback after Walter Thurmond III was suspended for four games for violating the league's substance abuse program, while Brandon Browner, who is facing a one-year suspension for the same offense, has a groin injury.
The division leaders are also in talks with recently retired cornerback Antoine Winfield, who spent the off-season with Seattle.
