Kam Chancellor ends contract holdout to return to Seattle Seahawks

Kam Chancellor ends his contract holdout to return to the Seattle Seahawks following his failure to secure an improved contract.

Kam Chancellor has confirmed that he has ended his contract holdout and will return to the Seattle Seahawks.

The 27-year-old held out of the club's training camp and the first two matches of the season in an attempt to secure an improved contract.

The Seahawks did not fold to the All-Pro's demands despite falling to 0-2 at the start of the campaign, and, as a result Chancellor has opted to return to the team.

"Ima go help my teammates that are understanding of my position and the ones who aren't," Chancellor said in a text message to ESPN's Stephen A Smith.

"God forgives all, why can't I? Time to help us get back to the big dance. I can address business after the season. Me and Marshawn started a mission two years ago. I can't let my Dawg down....Real talk."

Chancellor has recorded 398 tackles, two sacks and eight interceptions in his five-year career.
