St Louis Rams defensive end Chris Long has been activated to his side's 53-man roster after a spell on the sidelines with injury.
The 29-year-old sustained an ankle problem in the first game of the season, which required surgery and as a result he was placed on the club's injured-reserve designated to return list.
Long has proved his fitness to head coach Jeff Fisher over the past two weeks and is in line to face the Oakland Raiders in his side's match on Sunday.
The Rams have a 4-7 record in their season going into the clash against the Raiders.
