Jeff Fisher confident of Kenny Britt improvement

St Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher is confident that wide receiver Kenny Britt will show a marked improvement in his second year at the club.

St Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher is optimistic that Kenny Britt can improve in his second year with the club.

The 26-year-old was signed to a one-year deal by the NFC West outfit and had a solid year for the Rams, which earned him a new two-year contract during free agency.

Fisher believes that Britt can up the level of his play in his second year with the team, now that he has been ingrained in the club's system.

"I can kind of share the same issue Kenny does and that's we think he can be better," Fisher told reporters. "I think he can do better.

"He thinks he can be better. He thinks he can be more productive. He's looking forward to the offensive changes. I think, yeah, we should see a lot more out of Kenny this year."

Britt recorded 48 receptions for 748 yards and three touchdowns for the Rams in the 2014 season.
