Jeff Fisher has hit out at critics of his St Louis Rams side after they lost their fourth successive game on Sunday.
The Rams dropped to 4-7 for the season with an emphatic 31-7 defeat to the Cincinnati Bengals, but Fisher refused to accept that the attitude of his players was a problem.
"Anyone implies that it's an effort issue, they can kiss my ass," he told reporters when questioned about his side's disappointing display.
"There's no effort problems on this team. That's what happens when teams lose four in a row is people say it's effort. Come to practice, watch this team play, and ask any other opponent or opposing coach. It's not an effort issue right now.
"It's execution. It's 70% offense and 30% defense. I'll leave [special] teams out of it. Our teams always play hard."
The Rams return to action against the Arizona Cardinals next Sunday.
