St Louis Rams coach Jeff Fisher has conceded that quarterback Peyton Manning is playing the best football of his career right now.
The Rams host the Denver Broncos on Sunday and Fisher believes that Manning has become even better since joining the franchise from the Indianapolis Colts.
"I think he's playing his best ball right now," Fisher said, according to ESPN.
"He's got great people around him, he's really got a good feel, he's not going to take a sack, he's not going to make a bad decision. It's very, very difficult to defend."
Fisher went on to emphasise the importance of the veteran quarterback having great players around him including the likes of tight end Julius Thomas, wideouts Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders.
