Tennessee Titans linebacker Colin McCarthy is likely to be out for at least a week after picking up a hamstring injury in training.
Titans coach Mike Munchak has confirmed that McCarthy will miss the pre-season game against Washington Redskins on Thursday, according to Fox Sports.
The injury is believed to have resulted from surgery that McCarthy underwent on his ankle and he could well be sidelined for longer than the expected one week.
McCarthy made only seven starts last season due to his ankle injury and a concussion he suffered.
