Doctors have told Robert Griffin III that his knee is strong enough for him to take part in practices with the Washington Redskins.
The quarterback has been recovering from knee surgery, having torn two ligaments during the playoffs in January.
The 23-year-old wrote on Twitter: "Doctors cleared me to practice. Coach is going to ease me in. Thank you for your support & See you in Richmond."
The Redskins training camp is due to get underway tomorrow, with NFL.com reporting that the 2012 offensive rookie of the year is expected to work with all of the team's wide receivers.
