Team England 200m runner Christopher Clarke has admitted his disappointment after bowing out of the Commonwealth Games at the semi-final stage.
Clarke finished sixth in his heat with a time of 20.71s, but refused to blame the wet conditions for his elimination.
"It was disappointing. Tightened up in the last 100m, tried to hang on, but it just wasn't there today," he told Sports Mole.
"It wasn't too bad, the conditions didn't really hinder me to be honest," Clarke added when questioned on the wet surface.
Clarke also revealed that he will "have a discussion" with his coach before deciding whether to partake in the 2016 Olympics.
"I will keep going until the end of the season and then me and my coach will have a discussion at the end of the year to see what the best course of action is," he added.
Warren Weir and Mosito Lehata qualified in Clarke's heat.
