Jamaica's Alphanso Cunningham has claimed the gold medal in the men's F52/53 javelin final.
Cunningham secured a regional record throw of 21.84m to clinch the top spot on the podium, which earned him 985 points.
The Jamaican Paralympian was followed by Abdolreza Jokar of Iran, who managed to secure a best throw of 20.72m.
Mexico's Mauro Maximo rounded off the podium places by picking up the bronze medal courtesy of a throw of 20.14m.
