Kerron Clement took to Twitter earlier today to reveal that some members of the USA team got lost on their way to the Olympic Village in Stratford.
A number of American athletes arrived in the London this morning to step up their preparations for the Games, which get underway in 11 days.
However, 400m hurdler Clement has admitted that it took the team around four hours to reach their destination.
"Um, so we've been lost on the road for 4hrs. Not a good first impression London," he wrote on the social networking site.
"Athletes are sleepy, hungry and need to pee. Could we get to the Olympic Village please."
Clement is considered to be one of the favourites to win gold at the Games.
