Sports Mole's traffic report for today's Olympics football fixtures.

Welcome to Sports Mole's travel report for this afternoon's Olympics action.

The men's football tournament kicks off today, with games all over Britain.

Hampden Park, Glasgow hosts Spain and Japan at 2.45pm. Currently there is heavy traffic on the A739 Clyde Tunnel Govan both ways, due to roadworks. Avoid approaching the city from the South-West, as a building fire is causing severe disruptions on the A719 in both directions.

St James' Park in Newcastle is hosting Mexico vs South Korea and Gabon vs Switzerland at 2.30pm and 5.15pm respectively. There are medium delays on the A1 and A19, but nothing for now that should stop you getting to the games.

Old Trafford, Manchester plays host to UAE against Uruguay at 5pm and Team GB's game with Senegal at 8pm. There are no major disruptions in the city currently.

There is one fixture at the City of Coventry stadium at 7.45pm - Belarus vs New Zealand. There are many severe delays in the city this afternoon; the M6 Spaghetti Junction is severely delayed, the A426 in Draycote Water and the A4097 Kingsbury Road are both being diverted due to accidents, but will hopefully have cleared by this evening.

Brazil face Egypt at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff at 7.45pm. There are currently queues on the A4160 Fitzalan Place, however this should have cleared before kickoff.
