Usain Bolt wins 200m as Gemili finishes fifth

Usain Bolt powers to another 200m world title but Britain's Adam Gemili finishes outside the medals.

Usain Bolt completed his sprint double by winning the 200m at the World Athletics Championship in Moscow.

The Jamaican won in a time of 19.66 seconds, the fastest time in the world this year, seeing off compatriot Warren Weir (19.79) and Curtis Mitchell (20.04) of the US.

British racer Adam Gemili finished just 0.04 seconds outside the medals in fifth clocking 20.08 seconds, which was slower than his semi-final run where he achieved the second fastest time by a Briton.

For Bolt, it was his third title over 200m and brought his tally of World Championship gold medals to seven.

The fastest man in the world can add to his tally in the 4x100m relay, an event in which Jamaica hold the world record.
