Great British athlete Goldie Sayers believes that she has a chance of claiming World Athletics Championship gold during the javelin final in South Korea.
The 29-year-old reached the final after throwing 62.19m in the second round of qualifying earlier today and has revealed that she is pleased that the main event will be taking place in the evening.
"It is boiling out there!" she said. "The finals are all in the evening so it's not quite so bad for the heat. I think I've got a chance, there are six of us around the medals so we will just have to see who comes out on top."
Sayers finished fourth at the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008.
