Danny Ainge responds to trade talk

Boston Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge has admitted that they are in trade discussions.

Speculation this week has suggested that the Celtics are keen to sign Omer Asik from the Houston Rockets to boost their front-court options.

"When you read our name out there, sometimes it's true. Sometimes it's not. But we are having discussions and seeing what's out there," he told SportsHub.

However, according to Yahoo Sports, Houston have ended talks over a trade deal involving Asik and plan to keep him for now.
