The Boston Celtics have announced that they have released point guard Zoran Dragic.

Brad Stevens's men acquired the 26-year-old in a trade deal with the Miami Heat, also receiving a second-round pick in the 2020 Draft and cash in the move.

However, Boston have opted to release the player, just two weeks after making the deal, making Dragic an unrestricted free agent.

Dragic has averaged 1.8 points per game in his two seasons in the NBA.
