The New York Knicks have ended their nine-game losing streak by thrashing the Brooklyn Nets 113-83.
The visitors looked sharp from the start against their NYC rivals, opening up a six-point advantage by the end of the first 12 minutes.
Carmelo Anthony led the team with 19 points, while Iman Shumpert posted his highest points total of the season with 17.
Andrea Bargnani also added to the score as the Knicks pulled away from Brooklyn in the third quarter, outscoring their opponents 34-16, but was ejected shortly after for getting into a scuffle with Kevin Garnett.
Brook Lopez led the Nets' resistance, adding 24 points and nine rebounds, but with Paul Pierce and Deron Williams missing through injury the center lacked support, as only Joe Johnson could also reach double figures.
The result leaves the Knicks bottom in the Atlantic Division, but they now sit just one win behind the Nets.
