John Paxson not expecting Chicago Bulls trade deal

Chicago Bulls executive vice president John Paxson insists it is "unlikely" that they will make a move before the trade deadline.

Chicago Bulls executive vice president John Paxson has revealed that it is "unlikely" that the franchise will make a move before the February 20 deadline.

With speculation about a potential trade deal for the New York Knicks' Carmelo Anthony, Paxson isn't expecting any moves to be made.

"You have to put yourself in the other team's position, people don't just give up great players. So we obviously talk and keep our eyes and ears open, but to anticipate something's going to happen, I don't think that's likely, to be honest with you," he said, ESPN reports.

The Bulls are expected to wait until the summer to make further changes to their roster after trading Luol Deng last month.
