The Chicago Bulls have jumped above the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference thanks to a Joakim Noah-inspired 94-82 victory at the United Center on Thursday.
Noah missed out on a triple-double having scored 17 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists, while Carlos Boozer (16) and Luol Deng (14) were two of six point-scorers who reached double figures on the night.
Jordan Crawford did his best to keep the Celtics in the game with 22 points, though he had little support as only Jared Sullinger and Jeff Green managed to get into double figures for the visitors.
The result sees the Bulls move into eighth place in the Eastern Conference, while holding third spot in the Central Division following a record of 13-18.
