Cleveland Cavaliers head coach David Blatt has claimed that LeBron James will "absolutely" be ready for the start of the season.
The four-time MVP needed an anti-inflammatory injection on his back last week and played in just two of Cleveland's seven pre-season games.
Kevin Love made his first appearance of the pre-season at the weekend after recovering from a dislocated shoulder, while Kyrie Irving is still out of action, but Blatt is certain James will be fully prepared for next Tuesday's opener against the Chicago Bulls.
"I would say he will absolutely be ready for the season opener," Blatt told reporters. "Absolutely."
James has played more minutes than any other NBA player in the last five seasons.
