Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving could return from his knee injury before January, according to a report.
The 23-year-old sustained a fractured kneecap in game one of the NBA Finals, which required surgery to repair, ruling him out of the series.
Irving was expected to be ruled out until January, but the point guard has given the Cavaliers hope that he could return to action before the end of the year, reports Cleveland.com.
Irving averaged 21.7 points per game for the Cavaliers last season.
