Kyrie Irving bemoans Cleveland Cavaliers injuries

Cleveland Cavaliers star Kyrie Irving insists that injuries cost the team a championship last season.

Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving has insisted that the team would have won a championship last season but for injuries.

Kevin Love was ruled out of the playoffs after the first round with a dislocated shoulder, while Irving was also sidelined with knee trouble.

"Obviously, we have a great thing in Cleveland, and we dealt with everything together," he said on the Big Podcast with Shaq.

"I feel like we definitely would have won an NBA championship if we had everyone healthy. But almost doesn't count."

Cleveland eventually lost 4-2 to the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals.
