Kevin Durant's 51-point haul still not enough as Raptors down Warriors

The Raptors defeated the Warriors for the first time since 2014.

Kevin Durant scored 51 points for the Golden State Warriors but still could not overcome the Toronto Raptors on Thursday night.

A season-high 37 points from Kawhi Leonard helped push the Raptors to the 131-128 win in overtime, while Pascal Siakam added to the heroics with a career-best 26 points.

The Raptors were on an eight-game losing streak against the Warriors, who looked like they could be carried to victory as Durant scored more than 40 points in his third straight game.

But 10 points from Kyle Lowry, 13 from Danny Green and 20 from Serge Ibaka helped see the Raptors down the Warriors for the first time in four years.

The Los Angeles Clippers, meanwhile, recorded their ninth win in 10 games with a 133-121 win over the Sacramento Kings.

Bogdan Bogdanovic had a career-high 26 points for the Kings, but saw his feat overshadowed as the Clippers (15-6) rose to the top of the Western Conference.

LeBron James rallied in the final five minutes, scoring 12 of his night's 38 points, to lead the Los Angeles Lakers 104-96 over the Indiana Pacers.

The Lakers raced to a 24-point lead but were chased down to 89-88 in the fourth quarter, before a 22-foot jumper from James sparked a 10-point run for the hosts to seal victory.
