Golden State Warriors claim Memphis Grizzlies scalp

Klay Thompson scores 30 points for the Golden State Warriors as they claim a 108-82 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.

Klay Thompson scored 30 points for the Golden State Warriors as they claimed a 108-82 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies during Saturday's NBA clash.

Thompson was backed up by a superb showing from David Lee, who added 23 points and 11 rebounds, while Stephen Curry contributed 22 points and found a career-high tying 15 assists for the visitors.

The hosts were unable to find anyone to contribute with a 20-plus showing in the game, with their nearest scorer Mike Miller only able to bag 16 points.

Despite their loss, the Grizzlies made a minor piece of NBA history by becoming the first team to have eight unique leading scorers in eight consecutive games with no ties or scoring lead shares since the 2002-03 season.
