Former Indiana Pacers star Danny Granger has reportedly agreed to sign for the Los Angeles Clippers after being bought out of his contract by the Philadelphia 76ers.
The San Antonio Spurs, Houston Rockets and Miami Heat were all interested in acquiring the former All-Star forward, but he has chosen the Clippers as he believes he will play significant minutes for a contender, ESPN reports.
Granger is expected to clear waivers on Friday, after it was officially announced that he had successfully had his contract bought out by the Sixers.
By joining the Clippers, the 30-year-old becomes coach Doc Rivers's second acquisition this week following the arrival of forward Glen Davis.
