Free agent Glen Davis has reportedly undergone ankle surgery and will be ruled out of action for between two and three months.
The unsigned forward had ligaments repaired in his left ankle, while also having a cyst and bone spurs removed, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Davis averaged 4.0 points and 2.3 rebounds last season for the Los Angeles Clippers, and is believed to have had conversations about a return to the Staples Center next season.
The Times reported that he had met with coach Doc Rivers last month, while the Dallas Mavericks have also shown an interest.
