JJ Redick has admitted that he was struggling with "rustiness" on his return to action with the Los Angeles Clippers.
The shooting guard had missed the last two months with a bulging disc in his back, but returned during last night's 113-107 loss to the Dallas Mavericks.
The 29-year-old told reporters: "I felt limited by my rustiness. I felt like I could've given us a bigger boost and didn't do that. I haven't moved at that speed in two months. Definitely my brain wasn't reacting well."
Redick featured for 24 minutes during his return, scoring 12 points.
