Los Angeles Lakers president of player personnel Jim Buss has revealed that he feels the pain of the franchise losing this season as their struggles continue.
The Lakers got off to the worst start to a season in franchise history while they have lost three key players to season-ending injuries, and they possess few assets to make trade deals.
"I understand the pain of Lakers fans," Jim Buss told ESPN.
"I feel the pain of losing, too. But I have to focus on how we get out of this. And when I look at the flexibility and the position that we're in, we can't be in a better position to move forward and get back on top."
Meanwhile, Lakers president Jeanie Buss has insisted that the idea of tanking is "unforgivable" and "irresponsible" and the team would not consider it.
