Los Angeles Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak has revealed that there is nothing to rumours they are monitoring Tom Thibodeau's situation.
Thibodeau is widely expected to leave the Chicago Bulls this summer, with a report earlier this week linking him with a move to LA.
"I saw something about that this morning, and my first thought was, 'Let me call [Lakers coach] Byron [Scott] and let him know that the agents are doing their job, and pay no attention," Kupchak told Fox Sports Radio.
Kupchak added that representatives and agents have played a role in the situation in a bid to drum up interest in their respective clients.
However, the Lakers GM reiterated that the organisation is happy with Scott, who has one year remaining on his contract.
