NBA roundup: Derrick Rose sinks Golden State Warriors in overtime

Sports Mole rounds up all the action from Tuesday evening's games in the NBA.

A late shot from Derrick Rose for the Chicago Bulls in overtime ended the Golden State Warriors' 19-game unbeaten stretch at home.

The Western Conference leaders needed a late tip-in in regulation to force the additional spell, but Rose fired in a jump shot with seven seconds left on the clock in overtime to seal the victory for Chicago.

The Cleveland Cavaliers made it seven wins in a row as they eased past the Detroit Pistons at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

Kyrie Irving matched his season high of 38, while LeBron James added 32 to ensure that the Cavaliers never lost the lead in the second half.

The Toronto Raptors recovered from a slow start against the Indiana Pacers to clinch their 30th win of the season.

The Canadian side were seven points down at the end of the first quarter, but Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan led the fightback, combining for 43 to give Toronto a third straight win.

The Memphis Grizzlies condemned the Dallas Mavericks to a third straight defeat as they pulled away in the second quarter of their meeting at the American Airlines Center.

The sides were closely matched early on, but Zach Randolph helped open up a lead before the break while keeping the points coming in the second half to see off the Mavericks.

The Los Angeles Lakers slipped to their ninth defeat in a row as they were comfortably beaten by the Washington Wizards.

The home side made a strong start, with Wayne Ellington leading them to an 11-point lead at half time, but John Wall proved too much for the Lakers defense after the break as he led the Eastern Conference's second seeds to victory.

The Milwaukee Bucks needed a second-half push to secure a narrow win over the Miami Heat for their third win of the season over last year's beaten finalists.

Norris Cole helped the Heat to a 10-point lead midway through the third quarter, but an 11-1 run from Milwaukee tied the scores, while another burst at the start of the fourth sealed it for the visitors.
