Memphis Grizzlies point guard Jerryd Bayless has claimed that enjoyed a lucky night during the victory over the Boston Celtics on Monday.
Bayless came off the bench to score 19 points in a 95-88 win but admits that he was far from at his best in the first half.
"I was bad. Missing layups and doing things I normally don't do. It was bad. But I stayed positive, knowing we had to change," the 25-year-old revealed to journalists.
"Anybody can have a good night like tonight. Luckily, it was my night."
Bayless has played an average of 22.8 minutes in the first four games of the season.
