Dave Joerger: 'We allowed Oklahoma City Thunder too much space'

Memphis Grizzlies coach Dave Joerger says that his side allowed the Oklahoma City Thunder too much room as they are beaten at the Chesapeake Energy Arena.

Memphis Grizzlies coach Dave Joerger has said that his side allowed the Oklahoma City Thunder too much room in the first half, as they were beaten 100-86 at the Chesapeake Energy Arena.

Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook were the stars of the show as they combined for 56 points on the night to lead the Thunder to victory.

"No question we ran outta gas after that third quarter. We have to make them have to play," Joerger told reporters after the game.

"They were just free and loose in the first half. We did a better job slowing things down in the third quarter."

The sides will meet again for Game Two on Monday in Oklahoma City.
