Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade has sustained a strained right hamstring and is expected to miss Friday's game against the Dallas Mavericks.
Wade sat out practice on Wednesday and told reporters that he expects the injury to keep him sidelined for longer than just one game.
"I won't be seeing you for a little while," he told them as he left the practice session.
The Heat have listed him as day-to-day after he picked up the injury during Tuesday's loss to the Milwaukee Bucks when playing defense against Bucks guard Brandon Knight.
The 33-year-old missed two games earlier this season with a right hamstring injury, and missed another seven games with a strained left hamstring.
