Gerald Henderson has claimed that the Charlotte Bobcats "outplayed" the Miami Heat in the 99-98 defeat to the champions on Sunday.
The Bobcats led by 14 early in the final quarter but the Heat produced a late rally to extend their winning streak to 10 games.
"It's disappointing because I felt we had them," Henderson told reporters. "We outplayed them.
"They just came up with the plays at the end of the game that championship teams tend to do."
Henderson scored 17 points for the Bobcats in a losing effort.
