Miami Heat edge out Utah Jazz for third win in a row

Chris Bosh's 25 points leads the Miami Heat as they secure their third NBA win in a row by ousting the Utah Jazz 92-91.

The Miami Heat secured their third straight NBA win with a narrow 92-91 victory at home against the Utah Jazz last night.

The Heat were without shooting guard Dwyane Wade because of family reasons, but Tyler Johnson stepped up in his place and made a key late basket to help Miami get over the line.

Chris Bosh led the way for the hosts with 25 points and eight rebounds, while opposing big-man Derrick Favors had 25 and 12 in defeat for the Jazz.

Jazz small-forward Gordon Hayward scored half of his 24 points in the first quarter alone, but Miami led by six after the first frame before Utah cut the lead to one at half time.

After a closely-fought second half, Miami proved too strong at AmericanAirlines Arena and now have a record of 6-3, while the Jazz return to .500 at 4-4 after losing back-to-back games for the first time this season.
