The Milwaukee Bucks have officially hired Jason Kidd to be their new head coach after completing a deal with the Brooklyn Nets to acquire him.
As part of the deal to sign Kidd, the Bucks sent the Nets two second-round picks, one in the 2015 Draft and the other in 2019.
Milwaukee fired Larry Drew on Monday after he could only manage a 15-67 record last year, the worst in the league, as they look to make improvements for next year.
Kidd went 44-38 in his only season as Brooklyn coach, and after being denied control of basketball operations he was given permission to talk to other teams.
