The Portland Trail Blazers have continued their recent habit of conceding heavily as they lost 110-108 to the New Orleans Pelicans at the New Orleans Arena on Monday night.
Despite conceding yet another 100-plus points, the Blazers had remained in the game going into the final seconds, but Tyreke Evans showed up with a fade away jump shot from the wing to condemn Portland to defeat.
Earlier in the match Pelicans guard Jrue Holiday also produced a fine display of attacking play, having notched a game-high 31 points, with 15 coming in the final quarter.
Portland have now conceded at least 100 points in 13 of their games in December, with the Blazers sitting in second place in the Northwest Division.
