Carmelo Anthony: 'We must be more consistent'

Anthony eager for consistency

Carmelo Anthony has urged the New York Knicks to be more consistent ahead of their game against the Orlando Magic on Monday night.

The Knicks have lost 18 of their 26 games this season and the team received more criticism over the weekend following the home loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday.

However, Anthony believes that the team are producing some good form but they have not been at their best regularly enough recently.

"It's a sense of inconsistency right now," Anthony told reporters. "We have spurts where we're playing great basketball and then we just have spurts where we're just dead out there. So we've got to get better at that."

Despite New York's troubles, Anthony has averaged 26.5 points this season.
