Team USA to alternate between Kyrie Irving and Derrick Rose

Derrick Rose continues to impress and will alternate with Kyrie Irving for Team USA in the FIBA World Cup this summer.

Team USA coach Mike Krzyzewski has revealed that he will likely rotate his roster at the point guard position between Kyrie Irving and Derrick Rose.

The FIBA World Cup tips off on August 30 in Spain, where the Americans are considered the strong favourites to retain the title.

"We'll see as things goes on. We might alternate them. Both of them are going to play significant minutes," Krzyzewski said, ESPN reports.

Rose has impressed in training camp this summer after playing in just 10 games over the past two NBA seasons due to serious knee injuries.
