Oklahoma City Thunder reserve point guard Reggie Jackson has backed himself to shine ahead of the forthcoming NBA season.
Jackson has failed to nail down a number one spot at the franchise so far, but has made it clear that he believes he has the ability to be a top performer in the NBA.
"I've always had confidence in myself," said Jackson, according to BasketballInsiders.com.
"I've definitely had doubts in myself, but most of the time, I'm a very confident individual. I believe I put in the work, and I believe I'm blessed by my God to do some miraculous things.
"I think we all have [been blessed] in life, and we've just got to find out what it is. I just want to go out there and compete, and I guess that's probably where my competitive nature comes from."
The Thunder's first game of the new campaign sees them face the Portland Trail Blazers on October 29.
