The Oklahoma City Thunder dominated the fourth quarter of their game against the Los Angeles Clippers to take a 2-1 lead in their Western Conference semi-final.
Neither side was able to open up a substantial lead throughout the first three quarters, with the home side heading into the final 12 minutes just four points ahead.
The Clippers' advantage was quickly erased in the fourth quarter as Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, who finished the game with 59 points between them, edged the Thunder in front.
Oklahoma City continued to extend their lead as the clock ran down, which included Caron Butler adding three three-pointers late on against his former team.
Blake Griffin led the home side with 34 points, while Chris Paul and Jamal Crawford combined for 41, but the Clippers could not match the visitors' pace in the final minutes.
The fourth game of the series takes place in Los Angeles on Sunday.
