Jameer Nelson fined for gesture

Orlando Magic point guard Jameer Nelson has been fined just over £9000 for making an obscene gesture.

The incident came during the fourth quarter of the Magic's triple-overtime loss to the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday.

Nelson was penalised for making the gesture with 11 seconds left in regulation in the 128-125 loss, with the NBA retrospectively taking action.

The loss leaves Orlando in 14th place in the Eastern Conference, as they slip to 10-29 for the season.
