Alec Brown suffers dislocated shoulder

Phoenix Suns center Alec Brown dislocates his shoulder during the team's Summer League defeat to the Dallas Mavericks.

Alec Brown dislocated his shoulder during the Phoenix Suns' Summer League game against the Dallas Mavericks earlier this week.

The center was forced into the locker room clutching his shoulder after picking up a knock during yesterday's defeat.

The team later confirmed that the second-round Draft pick has suffered a dislocation, an injury that normally takes a couple of weeks to heal.

Brown was named Conference Player of the Year in college for his performances with the Green Bay Phoenix.
