The Phoenix Suns clinched a spot in the 2021-22 NBA playoffs with a 111-90 victory over the Miami Heat on Wednesday.
The Arizona outfit have become the first team to book their spot in the playoffs after Devin Booker stole the show against the Heat, recording 23 points, nine assists and eight rebounds.
The Suns were forced to make do without Booker for four games due to illness, but the 25-year-old was back with a bang on Wednesday for the Western Conference Leaders.
"I'm just trying to find my rhythm. I had a week off. I felt good. I was ready to get back at it," Booker told the press after sending the Suns to the playoffs.
"They came to our home court and kicked our ass so we wanted to make a statement here. The playoffs are upon us, we're looking forward to it. We don't want to fall short again."
The Suns fell to a defeat against the Milwaukee Bucks in last season's NBA Finals and boast a record of 53-13 from 66 games in the current campaign.
