Mo Williams: "I would like to be here long term"

Mo Williams claims that he will enter contract talks with the Portland Trail Blazers in the summer as he looks to secure a long-term contract.

Mo Williams has revealed that he is eager to remain with the Portland Trail Blazers for the foreseeable future.

The 31-year-old point guard is expected to opt out of his current contract but will enter negotiations with the franchise in the summer in an attempt to secure a longer deal.

"I would like to be here long term," Williams told CSNNW.com. "My goal is to work something out with Portland this summer. I like it here and I want to make this place home.

"With our team, we have a makeup of individuals that do something really, really good and when we mesh together, it's like gumbo."

Williams is averaging just under 25 minutes on the court this season in a supporting role to Damian Lillard.
